Ironside is our favorite restaurant in San Diego. It’s a great date night spot – delicious seafood, amazing cocktails, and vibes. I recommend sitting inside because it’s beautiful. We even went there for lunch after getting married at the courthouse!

Anyway, on to the food. Here are some of our favorites.

Not pictured – the lobster roll is delicious, but small for the price.

They also had (sadly it’s gone) an amazing cocktail. I don’t remember the exact ingredients, but it was Japanese gin-based and had a little bit of ponzu or sesame oil on top.. something different. I swear it was out of this world.

I went back recently and the waiter regrettingly said it was off the menu due to shortage of a special ingredient, but he had the bartender whip me up something similar and I appreciated it.
