We made lox!!!

How cool is that?

We covered salmon in salt and sugar for 48 hours. We wrapped it in saran wrap and put it in a pan in the fridge with a weight on it.

Then – we sliced! We didn’t manage to get the nice big slices that you get at the deli, but it was delicious.

Obviously it went on a bagel. Where else?!
